Did you lose distance with the longer irons? I’m thinking it’s a shorter shaft meaning less club head speed.

Can someone tell me why we are talking about a mini driver instead of just calling it a 2 wood?

I bought a set of these back in June, but i'd been on the fence about getting new irons, and the previous summer i would "try" out some other forged irons like the Mim Tours and Forged Tec, but at the time i felt like i wasn't consistent enough, but this year all of a sudden i started getting some "nuke" shot's where i'd hit the ball a good 15 to 20 yards farther than expected. And i finally went and got a set of the King Tour irons. And it took me about a week to get comfortable with them, but i love the feel of them. I'm far from a single digit handicapper, but i can play these irons all day long.

I tried loads of putter and the spider tour was the best for me…a close second was a cobra 3d printed putter? I can’t remember the model name…in the end the spider had a better line on the top of the putter

I agree use clubs with the same lofts and if you don't that means ping must be paying you not to.

As a +1 index, I don’t care what clubs you need, it’s all about the score. That’s all that matters. These chippers are easy to use and provide a lot of consistency. The issue is they are not very versatile which is why tour players wouldn’t use them. It’s almost like carrying two putters.

I'll be doing the p 7cb from 6-PW and 4+5 in the P770. My iron game is by far the best part of my game. Ive been playing the revised (LT2) RAC irons since 2005. Hit the pin twice in league last night and hit zero fairways =)

I was recently fitted by Golftec for the Ping Max. Loft-10.5, Shaft Length-44”, Shaft-Ping Alta-CB-Slate-55-DRV-R. CHS-90mph, Ball Speed 128. I have a Mizuno ST 190 but unfortunately the fitter didn’t have the newest Mizuno to compare. I enjoyed your review but would to hear your thoughts about what might be a good option for the new Mizuno Max. BTW, I’m 71, 5’9”and 130lbs.

Is the thumbnail picture the true size difference between these two heads? The milled look a fair bit smaller. Almost a similar size head to the phantom 5/5.5.

What handicap would you suggest P770’s for? I’m a 10, but would combo it with my P790

the switch was not that difficult for me. I love the 7 thru Gap. A lot of confidence when standing over the ball. The 6 and 5 do fly at a lower trajectory. I swapped them for the variable length irons and they work great and flow into variable length fairway woods

Been considering upgrading from my SLDR to something newer as i am a mid to high handicap. Love the club when im confident and on my game i can crush drives and be on for even eagles on par 5's but thats only 2/20 times haha. Anyone have suggestions? I was thinking about going to the sim 2 max.

When I started playing golf, Wilson was one of the big 3 golf brands out there (McGregor and Spalding..yes they made golf clubs to you younger guys out there were the other 2). Got myself a Wilson Dynapowr Forged myself. These are total sleeper irons probably cause of their "shelf" appeal compared to the big brand names and has beens or nobody's are using them on tour right now. Guarantee you if a Rory, Colin, or a Xander used these irons, Wilson wouldn't be able to keep this in stock.

I'm a 10 and have been playing these for a year and 1/2. Definitely not a beginner club.

Good video... but it's a double bend shaft not a single.

Both are great putters! I've hit with both, my dad has the Odyssey and my brother with the TM Spider. Both have such a high level of performance, my bag is TM so I prefer the Spider just to keep my bag brands consistent, just a personal preference.

Some golf history. Companies delofted clubs to fool the public into believing they were hitting their clubs garther. MEASURE the lofts!! Put matching lofts against each other. Redo the test, then get back to me.

Was fitted by my club pro at Kinross GC for the Dynapower Forged.,,,, (My old irons were Cobra Aerojet) Was out this morning 7am for the first time with the new irons. The feel is soft, compared to my old irons, higher ball flight thou STOPS fast on the greens. Now have confidence of firing into the green and know its going to stop, with the 8. to GW.. Have now taken the SM9 49 wedge out of the bag,,, Took a bit of getting used to a thicker top line,, smile on your coupon with the soft feel you get, deffo worth the money,,, and and club pro was £100 cheaper than American Golf,, always good to support your club pro

The stupid watch died in a year. Not worth it for the price.

Move the heavier weight to the back position for increased forgiveness (plus slightly higher launch and spin) on the Darkspeed X.

I've been using those grips as Jumpo. I like them but be aware, they make blisters.
